Effective Date: May 5, 2018
This policy governs all professional advisory services, one-on-one coaching, and group training sessions provided by Brilliantek LLC and its division Brilliantek Events.
- Booking & Scheduling
- Appointment Confirmation: All sessions must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. Your appointment is not confirmed until you receive a calendar invitation or email confirmation from us and your invoice has been paid prior to the appointment.
- Session Preparation: To maximize our time, the Client agrees to provide any requested materials (logins, data reports, or specific questions) at least [e.g., 24 hours] before the session.
- Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Notice Period: We require at least 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel a session without penalty.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than the required notice may be subject to a “Late Cancellation Fee” of 50% of the session cost or the loss of that credit from a prepaid bundle.
- No-Shows: If a Client is more than [e.g., 15 minutes] late to a scheduled call or service without notice, the session will be considered a “No-Show,” and the full fee will be charged. Exemptions to this policy will include any unforeseen circumstances that include medical emergencies, natural disasters and any other catastrophic conditions that prevent the client from providing notice.
- Scope of Advice (The “Consultant’s Boundary”)
- Implementation: Unless otherwise stated in a separate Service Agreement, consulting and training are advisory only. We will show you how to do it, but the Client is responsible for the actual execution/implementation.
- Technical Support: Consulting sessions are not a substitute for emergency technical support. If your website is “down,” please follow our standard Support Protocol rather than waiting for a scheduled training session.
- Intellectual Property & Recording
- Materials: All worksheets, slide decks, and proprietary methodologies shared during training remain the intellectual property of Brilliantek LLC. You are granted a non-exclusive license to use these for your internal business purposes only.
- Recording: We may record virtual sessions for internal review. We will not distribute, sell, or publicly post these recordings without express written consent or removal of any personally identifiable data, such as, name, email, voice, photo, etc.
- No Guarantee of Specific Results
Technology and markets change rapidly. While we provide expert guidance based on industry best practices, we cannot guarantee specific financial gains, search engine rankings, or software performance resulting from our advice. The Client acknowledges that business success depends on their own execution and external market factors.
- Payment Terms
- Prepayment: All one-off consulting sessions or training “bundles” must be paid in full at the time of booking.
- Expiration: Prepaid session bundles must be used within 12 months of the purchase date. Unused sessions are non-refundable.
